What is the operating system?

You can modify any settings in Debian.
Does the URVE BOARD Pi have a built-in microphone?
Yes, the computer has a built-in microphone.
Why does the clock (RTC) consume a battery?
A battery-powered clock ensures that the time is kept when there is no power and no network connection. Otherwise, it would behave like the Raspberry Pi - the time will deviate from the actual time when the device is off.
Is there a reset button/pin/pad?
We don't have a reset button/pin/pad. Only removing the cable from microUSB.
What is the energy consumption?
URVE Board Pi consumes approximately 2W when idle. At medium load, the consumption is at 4W.
Can I change/switch the OS language?

How do I reinstall/reflash the operating system?

URVE multimedia application is indicated on your site, is it available in the OS?
It's optional and paid software. It is not installed on URVE Pi's OS.
Can I use DSI, CSI, I2C, etc. interfaces as easily as on the Raspberry Pi board?
Yes, it should work just like on the RPI.
Can I create my own Debian compilation?

Does URVE Board Pi come with preinstalled OS?
Yes, the OS comes pre-installed on board (eMMC).
What is the Raspbian RPi compatibility?
Since we are using Debian Linaro on our URVE Pi, after testing we believe that almost all software designed for the Raspbian RPi will work with little or no modifications.
Can I use my RPi software and hardware - ESPECIALLY CAMERAS - with the URVE BOARD Pi?
Currently, cameras from Raspberry Pi do not work with Urve Pi. We are working on delivering a solution.
What development tools are available for URVE BOARD Pi?
We provide BSP (for Linux and kernel modifications) and SDK (all Linux compilations + QT Creator) in a very convenient virtual machine with Ubuntu. It allows easy porting of applications from any ARM/X86 board, not just RPi.
Does the clock (RTC) use any pins?
No, it doesn't.
Is it possible to install the OpenBSD operating system on URVE Pi?
Probably yes, but we do not support such a scenario. It could also be hard to run VPU and GPU acceleration on this system.
What is the reason for temperature range limitation (0-70°C). Are you planning any developments for industrial scopes?
The temperature range is the result of the use of components (RAM, eMMC, CPU). We are not planning an industrial version. The URVEBoard A55 we are working on will have an industrial variant based on the RK3568 processor (equivalent to the 3566, but industrial)...
Is it possible to connect (via LVDS) cameras dedicated to Raspberry Pi, such as HD F Night Vision OV5647 5Mpx - IR camera?
There is certainly a possibility, but we don't know how much work is required for such a scenario. You may need to make a switchboard.
Is it possible to use 4 UART interfaces simultaneously?
As far as we know, yes. But we haven't tested.
